Scholarship Description:The University of Wollongong through the School of Health Sciences has offered postgraduate coursework degrees in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) for a number of years and since 2009 a MSc Occupational Hygiene Practice degree.
1. Determine how the level of carbon dioxide in the full face piece mask influences wearer breathing patterns Verify and establish upper limit Work of Breathing curves.
2. Investigate carbon dioxide levels, breathing patterns and work of breathing work rates
3. Investigate methodological issues arising in the course of the project
4. Apply laboratory findings to industry-sites with a focus on end-users
