Scholarship Description: Mr Yasuji Hatano, President of Kokusai Motorcars Co Ltd. of Japan, established the KM Hatano scholarships in 1989. Mr Hatano donated $100 000 to encourage students in the pursuit of excellence in academic achievement, leadership and contribution to the Gold Coast community. Up to two scholarships are available for 2011.
