Brewery Engineering PhD Scholarship, South Africa

Scholarship Description: A vacancy exists within the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) to undertake full-time post-graduate research leading to the award of a PhD. The project is an international research partnership between UJ and SABMiller Europe AG and involves the application of computational fluid mechanics to the thermo-hydraulic behaviour of brewery process vessels.
A bursary of R80k p.a. is provided for a 3-year period and is available immediately.
The prospective applicant must have an interest in computational fluid mechanics and hold a Master’s degree in engineering or physics.
