Scholarship Description: This scholarship is designed to provide tuition assistance for outstanding international students of guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals while attending Musicians Institute There will be four winners selected. The first, second, and third place winners will each receive up to $12,000 USD in tuition credit ($2000 per quarter credited against tuition due for up to six quarters). The fourth place winner will receive up to $6000 USD in tuition credit ($1000 per quarter credited against tuition due for up to six quarters). The scholarship is in the form of tuition credit only; no cash sums will be provided, and any tuition credit balance that is unused for any reason may not be redeemed for cash or transferred to any other person.

Eligibility:
To be considered for eligibility for the Future Engineers Scholarship, a student must: Be a full-time student at the time of application submittal, pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States during the 2011 calendar year, and be accepted into the School of Engineering.
Scholarships will not be awarded to freshman or seniors who will be graduating on or before June 2012. Have a college cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or 3.5 on a 4.5 scale, and so forth). Be a United States citizen, a resident alien, or in the case of candidates from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, a United States national.
Submissions from resident aliens must include a letter of the candidate’s intent to obtain U.S. citizenship and a photocopy of the Alien Registration Card.

Chancellor’s International Scholarships for PhD at the University of Warwick, UK

-This includes students who are currently studying for a Master’s degree at Oxford but who will be re-applying for a DPhil (you would be eligible for funding for the DPhil).
-Candidates who already have a place but who deferred entry from a previous year are not eligible to apply (as you can apply for Clarendon in the year that you applied for your place and then, if you are successful, you can apply to defer your funding if you need to defer your place).
-An excellent academic record is essential: A high first class honours degree or its equivalent (a GPA score of at least 3.7 if the mark is out of 4, noting that most successful candidates achieve a score higher than 3.7) or an outstanding academic record at Master’s level is necessary (noting that an outstanding Master’s degree can compensate for a moderate first degree performance)
